Based on an unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), an Army veteran and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald's restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys "R" Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. The writers seem more interested in telling a sanitary good guy tale than considering Lancaster’s crimes...It leaves you with the feeling that there is a much better version of this gonzo true story still waiting to be told.

After seeing the trailer for this the other day I just knew I had to watch it. This movie surprised me so much. I didn’t expect to cry watching this. It was comforting, funny, emotional, and I loved every minute of it. Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst did a fantastic job and their chemistry was amazing. This is definitely a new favorite movie of mine I had so much fun watching it and I need to see it again! Also I had McDonalds right after this.

Excellent true story. Well acted, good chemistry between Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst. Funny at times, and terribly sad in some parts. Overall a very interesting screenplay.

Everything about this movie was excellent! I had no idea that the movie was indeed based on a true story until the end credits and everyone stayed through the bonus credits. So well done, the chemistry between everyone was palpable. I'd happily pay to see this one again!
