Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/23 Full Review christopher c. m I say don't listen to the young haters who thinks anything not computer generated is awful, it's not. It's perfect. An origin to explain the red nose power and a cross over between two great Christmas legends. The original actors return from their original specials. If you give it a chance, you'll love it too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny and original; all ages!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review J H This movie was incredible! It's literally Rankin-Bass: Endgame, they brought EVERY character from EVERY movie together and even dive into the origins of Rudolph and the deeper mythology only touched upon previously. It takes the concept of a Christmas special and makes it into a genuine action-adventure movie with very serious scenes and genuine tear jerker moments. It's a perfect and very complete series finale for the whole Rankin-Bass holiday movie "cinematic universe" and links all of them together brilliantly. I highly recommend, but don't expect it to be a cheerful kids movie...they somehow made the Rankin-Bass movies very serious. Colin Fleming Slate The Rankin-Bass films and holiday specials are generally quite solid, but this one-which you may also encounter around Independence Day-is a bloated, trippy affair, with a helping of holiday skeez. Dec 3, 2018 Full Review Emily St. James Vox The attempts to turn these corny stories into some sort of epic strain with flopsweat, and the hoped-for Avengers-style team-up of the company's big two mostly results in scenes where you wonder why Frosty's not melting in the middle of July. Dec 3, 2018 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn Rooney looks like he's 93 in this. Rated: 1/5 Dec 12, 2020 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn It wasn't entertaining in the slightest, and the villains were stupid. Rated: 1/5 Dec 12, 2020 Full Review Ryan Voyles Paste Magazine Overall, it's a quirky special with some of the best Animagic Rankin/Bass ever did, but it's a long 97 minutes... If you're willing to make the time for it, it's worth the view. Dec 3, 2018 Full Review Matthew Jackson Syfy Wire The idea of crossing over Rudolph and Frosty is logical, because they were the company's two most popular character (aside from maybe Santa Claus), but the way it actually happens is just nuts.
