Victor O I saw this after becoming a fan of Angel McCord, so I watched it for her and some familiar talents in Ryan Donowho. The story sounded interesting, and I was ready to watch it. Several men and women in the heartland of America connect over the following months concerning life, money, morality, and all its troubles. Vincent is a dishonest man trying to find his way to fulfill the American Dream. Carla and David are trying to make a fresh start attempting to fix their marriage as the latter attempts to lead a congregation as its new preacher. Marlena is grieving the loss of her mother. These three parties’ conflict over a piece of property that represents an almost jinxed set of circumstances with deceit, injury, and death. I have to admit I was disappointed with this. The film is well shot but the story is awful, which disappointed me because I liked many of the performers. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review Read all reviews
