Cynthia W Thought it was cute (who doesn't like Leslie Nielsen?) So much better than all of those sappy Christmas rom-com's on the H Channel! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review Andrew B Really brings the magic of Christmas to life. One for the whole family. It’s better than most Christmas movies in recent years. My Girlfriend watched it for the first time ever and myself for the first time in nearly 16 years and we both throughly enjoyed the film 10/10. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review Shaun E Why is this film so poorly rated? I have no idea. If you are the complete Bah Humbug type who doesn't want 90 minutes of easy and delightful of Christmas entertainment, then don't torture yourself with the spirit of Christmas and go watch a shoot 'em up instead. The storyline is quite simple, an orphan boy writes a letter to Santa and loses it in his coat pocket, only to crash land on the same boy's car, many many years later, ending up with temporary amnesia. This is very lightweight, but on a night before Christmas, with the tree lit in the corner, this fits the seasonal spirit perfectly. If anyone is trying to overanalyse this, then give it up - this is a kid's film and you need to bring out your inner, more carefree self to make the most of this. Yes, the ending is a bit over gushing, by what else would you expect from an American children's Christmas movie? A jolly good festive watch that does not require, or even care for, too much thinking. Sit back and enjoy.
