matthias s I grew up on Scooby-Doo, but somehow never caught this one — and maybe that was for the best. The animation feels super dated, and without Fred, Daphne, or Velma, it’s just Scooby, Shaggy, and Scrappy fumbling through a paper-thin “mystery.” The ghostly Boo Brothers are more annoying than spooky, and the story drags like it should’ve ended twenty minutes in. It’s weird in that “what were they thinking?” kind of way, missing the usual charm and chemistry that made Scooby-Doo fun. Honestly, it feels less like a movie and more like a stretched-out filler episode. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/15/25 Full Review Oliver F Honestly, not bad for Scooby Doo’s first feature-length movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review Audience Member Certainly a bit juvenile at times but Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers is still silly, spooky fun that shows that you didn't have to rely on having all 5 members of Mystery, Inc. to make an enjoyable adventure about television's most iconic cartoon dog. And yet the 2020 movie recycles the story about how useful Shaggy and Scooby really are to the team when it's not like they did much themselves, being pushed to the sidelines in favour of setting up a Hanna Barbera cinematic universe. I don't get Warner Bros. at times :/ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member There's nothing like three friendly, but crazy, ghosts who can make this Scooby-Doo feature fun for young viewers. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a beautiful film. The characters, the plot, the score: it's all so perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Love the story and the fact that Scrappy is in this one. Great Scooby-Doo film.
