Colin M Robin Williams in a Saul Bellow story. A middle-aged American man struggles with employment, family and financial issues. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Audience Member How this movie has only a 48% when it is one of the best most concise and perfectly executed stories of all time is beyond me. If you know anything about story and character you will understand this truth. This is an actors actor movie. Julliard Technique in full display. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Robin Williams stretches his acting chops in this fine adaptation of the Saul Bellow novel, directed by Fiedler Cook. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It was sad seeing one of everybody's favorite funny man actors play a depressed, down-on-his-luck, too good a guy to lash out against those he needed to, poorly parented young man struggle with life, especially considering how much it mirrored his secretly depressed real life (Robin Williams). As a movie, it wasn't particularly noteworthy. You just watch a man get duped by everyone and lose it at the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I mean it's Williams but the movie itself is bad Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A wannabe Death of A Salesman, an incredible early dramatic turn from Robin Williams can't save sloppy pacing and a tedious narrative about lost potential.
