Sciberras’ direction keeps you in the picture, enabling you to keep track of the damage and effecting a rise in your pulse rate. The script even finds time for some human interest...but none of it is enough to eclipse the plot’s basic implausibility.

We don’t get much explicit backstory, so it’s the chemistry between the actors that’s important to making this slight story convince, and for the most part, it’s there.

I managed 20 minutes of this. Clearly written and directed by a team who have no idea about snipers or any type of combat. I think I watched the protagonist sit in open space looking for another sniper with a scope for the third time before I realised no thought had gone into The movie and switched it off .
