Different generation...different war. Same Marine Corps (USMC 1965-1969). From my perspective, best film representation of what it is like to be a Marine in a combat situation.

Great 1st person, legit film. You follow real life Marines and their problems day in and day out. What I wanted to give props on was that they did not hold anything back. If you CANNOT handle swearing, death - basically what a soldier sees, hears, says, and fears - then I would not even begin to consider this film.

I was glued from start to finish. Most of us aren't aware of what we send our soldiers into when they went to Iraq. Sending our young men into a battle that some of us don't agree with, but not trying to make a political statement. Awesome! It makes you wonder, what happened to these Marines?
