Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Vincent is one of the more engaging young American actors, but this time he's given almost nothing to work with. Rated: 2/4 Jul 10, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

N L Amazing. Jan Micheal Vincent and Chief Dan George, together doing a movie. A Wonderous combination of the 1970s. If you even know who these people are, you have already watched too many 70s movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review David W A decent light horror with heavy native Indian mysticism. Not great, not bad. Chief Dan George is always strangly watchable despite this not being his best role. The star, Jan Michael Vincent (of Airwolf fame) is ok, if a little low key. Its a bit contrived and low budget but it'll pass time happily enough on an undemanding rainy Sunday afternoon. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Ambitious enlightenment storyline with a dose of horror. It has a decent tone, but is a little ambiguous in places. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member The write up above makes this sound far more exciting than it really is. Ostensibly a road move with a Westernised Native American rediscovering his roots, whilst fending off evil spirits and and rival shaman. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member A pretty clear example of a movie that's ... okay. Chief Dan George is Jan Michael Vincent's grandfather (sure he is), and they go on a road trip to fight an evil native american witch. Things happen ... it's all okay ... never bad, but never great. Not exactly memorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I had been trying to track this Canadian cult classic down for almost two decades, I didn't know the title or the stars, just had a vague recollection of two scenes, but with enough research I was finally able to figure it out. This used to be shown on TV in Canada all the time in the early 80's and I saw it a couple times as a kid and it made an impact on me. It stars Chief Dan George and Jan-Michael Vincent and is essentially a Native American horror story, though shot in British Columbia. The film is a bit dated but I enjoyed the story, found it creepy, and it features gorgeous scenery. Worth a watch for something different.
