Sam H @TinTan Jun 9 Two stars, an extra one because it's so bad it's good. I would say these are the dumbest cops in the movies since the old days of bumbling police chiefs and flatfoots in the B-movie comedies of the '30s and '40s. The difference is, they're presented as respectful and legitimate characters. Throughout the film my wife and I were practically screaming at the TV the obvious next steps in solving the crime. I suspect the screenwriters were in the process of cleaning the draft when the producers said, good enough for the first feature, AKA, "it's only a B movie, guys." Having grown up in the '50s, it was fun to see Jerry Mathers in a pre-"Leave It to Beaver" role. See more nick s 04/08/2024 A reasonably well produced movie. However it was hemmed in by its theme and I felt like there were few places it could go. A fistfight here, an argument there. From early on you knew there were only a couple of plausible endings, so you just had to sit back for an hour with your arms folded to see which one they picked. See more Read all reviews
