Audience Member It's so bland and cheap Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The manga is more creepier than this. It's kinda sad that it was Ryuhei Matsuda's second film and one of Junji Ito's manga. Unfortunately, this low-budgeted live action did not really meet the standards for its horror genre. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member No esta mal. Como siempre, mejor el manga. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Harumph. Another wasted opportunity. The first 50-60 minutes or so are a pretty good high school ghost story. Relatable, realistic characters, a sense of mystery and a little bit of creepiness...But then literally almost all of this is dropped in favor of a moronic and incoherent twist. When I say almost all, I really mean it...I don't want to spoil too much, but essentially everything that happens in the first hour is meaningless. Any feelings we might have had for these characters are completely scrubbed out. It's almost as if the ending was meant to be a different movie entirely. It doesn't help that this last third is boring and dumb when taken by itself, too. Why do they do this? Too many third-tier horror films that are fine on their own small terms try to reach higher and fall into the shitter. Don't waste your time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member tired of horror movies [for now] Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I really liked this movie. It's not a japanese masterpiece but it's pretty good and the end is quite amazing. I thing every japanese horror fans should watch it.
