Audience Member This was released as both silent and talkie. The film itself is a hodgepodge as they couldn't decide it seems whether to make it one or the other and, because of that, it suffers immensely. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film despite the fact the film was not well-kept. There are some silent parts, that were presumably supposed to be part of the talk part. Despite the in/out sound of the version that I watched, it's a highly entertaining version of Show Boat.
