This sequel to the viral YA-based hit Sidelined: The QB and Me is a touchdown. It shows that you can't truly "happily ever after" a high school love story because life doesn't stop at 18. Go to Full Review

While I can't call it 'good' by any traditional metric, Sidelined 2: Intercepted works as a harmless distraction. Go to Full Review

Helena P @Almapiim12 4d I’m tired of movies, that introduce some possibly intersting plot lines and then just don’t use them… like why did they have to bring in a new guy, without even actually exploring him as an option. It would’ve been so much better to see him be the one that cared more than her actual bf and showed up to her dance thing. And then that is what makes it contrivertial and causes they’re break up. And how they kept bringing up, that Noah Beck’s character (can’t remember his name) was so good and he had what it takes, WHEN he’s actually only played ONE game and then got injured right after?? Would’ve been nice to see how that affected the team, but no. Also, she is not a good dancer. Like i’m sorry, but why would you make a movie about a girl who is such a good dancer and living her dream, while she is really not… she doesn’t have the flexibility or the moves. Overall, could’ve had SO much potential, but didn’t use it! See more Lydia R @SweetRoxy Nov 28 Cons: WAYYY less impactful than the first movie. It really felt like the whole plot was filler. There really were no memorable moments to be honest. I don't know if it's just me, but the acting on Noah Beck's part felt very lackluster and kind of bad, and this is coming from someone who thought he did a great job in the first movie. I don't know what happened to his acting in this one sadly. I hate to say this, but we all know it's true, despite this movie dealing with a major issue in Drayton and Dallas's relationship, the majority of this movie showed them being very happy together, which just does not make great entertainment unfortunately. And the angst that they tried to force in their relationships felt very dumb and juvenile. With how accessible technology is today, long distance really shouldn't have been this difficult for Drayton and Dallas. They were both being very needy and selfish in this movie, which made me question how much they actually cared for each other. Pros: I liked that neither of them cheated even though both of them were presented with the opportunity. I really hate the cheating trope. Also, I liked the one "major" dance number in this movie. Would have liked it more if she was dancing with Drayton though as opposed to the third wheel guy.
