Audience Member I'm not sure why I expected this to have more of a story. And as far as the "skin and camp" variety of experimental cinema goes, this isn't even one of the more visually interesting ones. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A very interesting and "campy" movie. Although you can literally tell they filmed the whole thing in their apartment, the story is interesting enough, and it's got some humor. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Somewhat funny low budget sci-fi movie. It's enjoyable towards the end, but there are a lot of scenes, especially in the beginning, that are confusing and boring. Overall, it's not that bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member High camp, dime store costumes and a robot wanting to engage in carnal lust makes this film from Mike Kuchar (one half of the Kuchar twins) a must see for underground film fans or fans of bizarre cinema in general. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Bizarre little gem from 1965 by Mike and George Kuchar feels like a silent sci-fi film with a heavy dose of 60's campyness. A robot rebels against his master and then searches for his true love. Short and extremely artsy probably serves heavily as inspiration to modern silent directors like Guy Maddin. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member this is one of my all time favourite films, it is epic. George Kuchar has created some of the most beautiful and imaginative movies which deserve to be seen by a wider audience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
