jacob b Taking the Pixar approach of telling a story first and being a tech demo second - sure enough, the director of this short actually was a Pixar artist - Sintel has some really good visuals for the time it was released, especially for FREE animation software. However, unlike some of the other Blender shorts, this 15-minute short film tells a deeper, more dramatic story in such a brief runtime whose ending could definitely catch viewers off-guard. If anything, the ending will likely turn your opinion around if you thought this was going to be just a slightly more violent dragon-themed Finding Nemo.
