Steven Oxman Variety The biggest problem is that the film simply can't re-create the theatricality of Durang's initial work. B L So deep! This is like the catholic version of the PASSION. #superentertaining Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I bet this worked better as a play, but it's still an unusual and intriguing movie. Diane Keaton is a helluva'n actress. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow, dark and unresolved Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/15/19 Full Review Audience Member Yet another example of how Anti-Catholicism remains the Anti-Semitism of the Left. Boring. Predictable. Trite. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Frances H Interesting farce showing the major inconsistencies of a religious zealot and the sort of harm and violence that a person such as that can rationalize in their own minds--doesn't matter if they are nuns or suicide bomber, or which religion they claim to profess. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/04/13 Full Review Audience Member A very, very angry anti-Christian movie. Nonetheless, I kind of dug it. I didn't find it nearly as offensive as the other people in the theater. A devote man of faith myself, I give my seal of approval for those with a sense of humor.
