Israel C Hollow body six string. 1957. A good year.. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Always Be C Wow, why have I never seen this before. The joke gets a little tired by the end but I love films that are not afraid to be different and this was certainly something unusual. I would much sooner watch something original that sometimes gets a little lost than the endless mounds of post apocalyptic road warrior rip offs. Well done to the whole team. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/23 Full Review rene o There are no superlatives worthy enough to convey the magnificence of this movie. The sheer scope of this film is beyond description. Its beauty, elegance, and poetry surpass anything that has been produced thus far. Its heart, warmth, and passion embody the best and worst of what it means to be human. Its technical achievements are ground-breaking and nothing short of stunning. Director Lance Mungia has just raised the bar for all fill makers. Jeffrey Facon as the complicated would-be Rock n' Roll King delivers an incomparable and unforgettable performance. But the real driving force behind the story; its soul, is the character of "the kid" played by the young acting prodigy Justin McGuire. He brings to the role an understated intensity that draws the viewer ever deeper into a labyrinth of emotion and passion. The movie's importance as an allegory for the struggle between conflicting desires and one's inevitable confrontation with death, especially in this period of social upheaval is profound. I am of the opinion that this film represents the pinnacle of the art of movie-making. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly as hell, no-budget, but highly stylized action flick with lots heart. There's soo many elements and crazy pieces in here that fall in line with my tastes, that it's impossible not to have fun with it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/11/21 Full Review Audience Member The plot here could serve as story mode for the next version of "Guitar Hero" Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Okay, first of all this movie is far from anything great. But it does have a lot of fun in it. It is like some friends living close to a desert said hey I got an idea for a movie lets go rent some gear and give it a try. I remember me and one of my friends watching the movie and he was like please someone kill the kid. I have to agree, the kid is probably one of the most annoying characters to grace a movie ever. The fun part was me and my friend decided to turn this into a drinking game, so every time someone was killed we took a shot, until nearing the climax of the movie and all the craziness starts to go down...I set the bottle on the table looked at my friend and was like "I DARE YOU". This is a movie if it was made today probably would do better than it did in its initial release. It is entertaining, which is what a movie is suppose to do, just wish they could remove the little boy from it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
