I was actually hoping for a bit more slaughtering than old high school buddies hanging out. serenie o truly disappointed me, and i couldn’t really understand it all. was skip right the whole time about marty being crazy and that’s why it cut to marty being back in the hospital at the end 6 weeks after the incident? did marty imagine the whole thing? that’s the part i couldn’t really understand 🤔 it just didn’t really sit right for me the way the bullies came back to life just to get revenge on marty when he deserved his get back at them. also i couldn’t tell when time skips were bc they did not change not even a bit to show time has passed 😭 i had high expectations for this one, but nothing in it made sense Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/25 Full Review Nick O Crucial 80’s nerd-revenge slasher, scored with recycled Friday The 13th outtakes to make you feel right at home. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/26/25 Full Review xpig332 B Not bad enough to be good, just bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Raiodesol S With great potential, this movie just can’t capitalize on its amazing idea, delivering a very forgettable and dull final product. At some points, the movie feels like it’s going to pick up the pace, just to fall short and lose the rhythm. Unfortunate, considering that a chemist killer could be better executed. Overall, some kills are good, but most are more of the same for the genre. Also, the final twist comes out of nowhere but doesn’t feel good, maybe it’s a consequence of the time period I’m currently experiencing, but I can’t imagine people watching this back in the 80s liking it either. If the movie ended 10 minutes earlier, it would’ve helped the narrative. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/24 Full Review Audience Member acting isnt the best, however the concept and plot is unique and creative. same goes to the deaths, they were unexpected in the best way possible. marty's (the main character) design was awesome, along with his character and backstory. was rooting for him the whole time.
