steve d Engaging western with good performances. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great family movie about a man's love for a wild horse, his kindness earns the horses trust and devotion. Burl Ives singing is wonderful. Lots of action, great acting, and good story with valuable lessons to be learned about people and animals. Suitable for all ages. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It is probably most notable for being the first film appearance of Burl Ives. I enjoyed seeing him perform a couple of songs on screen, but there wasn't much to the rest of the film if I am being honest even as much as I like Fred MacMurray. (First and only viewing - February 2020) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the best human-horse stories I've seen. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member 130913: I like horse movies normally but this one is pretty...lame. Narrarated through-out, like it's a book being read. Has a couple quaint moments but just isn't that impactful. Also, not really a western in my books due to taking place in the 30s. You're not going to see any gunfighting action here. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member loved it, I want on DVD, I actually enjoyed this movie, it was better than what I thought, I thought it was a great film, I loved it, it was directed by Louis King, it was a great westen Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
