Audience Member I am not against a Snoopy origin story, but Snoopy's Reunion feels like a Peanuts film in name only. It's not a bad short, but there are a few extremely depressing moments in it; and not the funny depressing that Peanuts is known for. There's a tragic part where a cute little girl adopts the puppy Snoopy, then is forced to give him back in tears... the sequence doesn't accomplish much other than to make us feel dejected. Plus, the ADULTS TALK, which is outworldly for Peanuts. It's nice to see Snoopy's family and there are a couple good jokes, but there's not much of a reunion at all. And I think my review for Snoopy's Reunion is longer than the film itself. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Loving Snoopy as a puppy.
