Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com It takes a special person to look past a cast list that includes Jim Varney and Brigitte Nielsen and Corey Haim. Are you that adventurous of a movie-watcher? Rated: 1/5 May 10, 2004 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I was really into snowboarding in 96 and I used to have this movie on VHS. It's corny, it's stupid, it's cliche but for whatever reason I thought it was funny enough to hover just above being a bad movie. Plus Jim Varney is in it! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved it, but I also love "comfort movies" and things that are flawlessly imperfect. Seriously eccentric cast, and even if this film was a trainwreck, Jim Varney could take it or some garbage screenplay and turn it to gold. He was consistently a consummate professional who was loved by all who knew him, and is sorely missed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member extreme silliness throughout. just a breezy little check yourself at the door comedy haha. very funny and enjoyable. yeah it wouldnt win any awards but that is besides the point you root for them to save the resort and make the snowboard academy work haha. also the academy itself is just a makeshift tent but the cheerfulness of the so called instructors with corey haim being one of them brings the people in and well things go quite well for them. :) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Al Pacino is great as always and Robert Deniro is just classic Deniro. Hoffman wasn't bad either. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member 56% RIP Varney. Know what mean. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Just not a good movie. Jim Varney is great with his performance and it's worth it every time he's on camera. At times though I feel he was given room to ad-lib and he did show signs of Ernest-like antics. Corey Haim wasn't bad either nor was Joe Flaherty. It just wasn't a good movie. I mean there are worse movies out there but I see why this has a low rating. As a Jim Varney lover as kid, I believe I rented this and couldn't get into it. Varney fans will like him but maybe not the movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
