Canadian waitress Cheryl Ann (Catherine Fitch) feels trapped by her dead-end job serving doughnuts at a small-town cafe and by her loveless relationship with her moody spouse, Terry (Scott Renderer). Things get even worse, though, when she learns that Terry is cheating on her. Needing time away from him, and hoping to liberate herself from the tedium of her daily life, Cheryl Ann and her best friend, Lizette (Rebecca Jenkins), leave town to embark on an odyssey to a soft-rock concert.
