Just take crappy cameras in the woods for a ridiculous project (a college class that requires collection "leaves and stuff"), walk around for a while, then scream and react to "scary" stuff. It's painfully bad, but it proves one thing very clearly: found footage movies are not easy. They are very hard to pull off convincingly and this one failed on all counts.
