Audience Member A little silly and predictable, but it has good actors and a humorous plot for kids, preteens, parents and dog lovers. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Step Dogs is the perfect film for children who love movies like the "Home Alone" series, I really enjoyed watching this film on the Dove Channel App. This film displays the struggles of a newly blended family and the reluctance of two kids accepting that they are now brother and sister. However, when the parents leave to go on their honeymoon; the kids team up to stop an old mischievous employee from meddling with their dogs and stealing a precious heirloom. When a couple marry and head off on their honeymoon, the groom's son and the bride's daughter stay at home and clash. Even worse it that the bride and groom's two dogs also must learn to co-exist. They even talk and give their insightful comments. There's a couple of crooks who try and break in the house, just to be thwarted by the canine geniuses. Tired, dull, unfunny, and depressing for all the wrong reasons.
