"Stephanie" doesn't prove that Goldsman is a masterful genre director, but it has the hints of one in the making. Go to Full Review

Stephanie is an ambitious, deliberately ambiguous story which wrenches the viewer by the collar and refuses to let go from the first frame to the last. Go to Full Review

Ed S Nov 2 Immense potential to further explore an established trope of invasion, infection, and ultimately failing to suppress the Lovecraftian threat. Some may consider this fictional future dystopian, and they would be right in this scenario. While this film does at times falter, I feel overall these moments are offset with compelling performances delivered by Grillo, Torv, and Crooks! It is not perfect by any means, but there is still an interesting story to experience if and when you happen to catch it. It gets better if you keep watching. I didn't love it but it is a good late night Netflix movie. See more 04/12/2021 Emotional and gripping movie experience. An intense and rewarding story. The young lead actress was fantastic. A new top 100 favorite movie. See more 07/10/2020 It's easy to make this movie. Find a movie, where you don't know what's going on and you're about to turn it off out of sheer boredom. Add a halfway decent story line and combine the two. Now, take the plot and just erase half of it. It doesn't matter where, just start erasing. When you watch the end product and you keep saying to yourself, "What the f*ck?"... you made this movie. In the movie, the character of Stephanie says to "her" father, "You shouldn't have come back." Well, I shouldn't have watched this movie. :/ See more Read all reviews
