Peter Bradshaw Guardian It somehow wasn't funny or scary enough - though I do have to admit it is always more than revolting enough. Rated: 2/5 Oct 25, 2012 Full Review Paul Callaghan Little White Lies There's nothing inherently funny or provocative about a bunch of obnoxious kids being relentlessly horrible to a psychologically troubled peer. Oct 25, 2012 Full Review Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) The horror-comedy genre is notoriously hard to pull off, but this Irish effort makes a decent, trashy fist of it. Rated: 3/5 Oct 25, 2012 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts I really liked the balance of the characters, the storyline, and the comedy and horror. Rated: 7/10 Apr 28, 2021 Full Review David Lamble Bay Area Reporter It's a difficult labor. Jun 8, 2020 Full Review Josh Goller Spectrum Culture There's not a seltzer bottle's chance in hell of finding anything worthwhile in Stitches. Jul 20, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Ari B A lot of bad acting and cringy, pointless filler. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Melissa L Killer clowns are a favorite horror movie trope. I have never liked clowns, even before horror movies about them. This clown movie is ominous and different. Except for the excessive gore, I like this horror comedy. If you're into killer clowns, I recommend seeing this movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/24 Full Review Thomas R Reminiscent of "Killer Klowns from Outer Space," "Stitches" is the funniest, most-hilarious horror/comedy I've seen since "Psycho Goreman." I absolutely loved Ross Noble as a clown. Ignore all of the bad reviews, watch it, then decide for yourself. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the best film but has good gore & decently funny. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member We watched Conor McMahon's Let the Wrong One In last month, which led us to this movie, in which Richard Grindle is Stitches the clown, cursed by an egg to always remain alive until he finishes the party that he was at where a group of unruly kids jerked around and caused his very violent death. Years later, as he's restored to his undead life, Stitches hunts down each of the kids who caused his death one by one and dispatches them in a manner most unbecoming to a happy clown. With shoutouts to A Nightmare On Elm Street — main character Tommy takes the same Hypnocil that the Elm Street kids did to keep their dreams from happening — and no small amount of the grisly red stuff, consider Stitches if you've run out of slashers for your October watching. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review thomas r Reminiscent of "Killer Klowns from Outer Space," "Stitches" is the funniest, most-hilarious horror/comedy I've seen since "Psycho Goreman."
