Ann Ross Maclean's Magazine It's a fabulous idea and provides plenty of opportunities for comedy, most of which, unfortunately, are neglected. Aug 7, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Haunted by H A perfect example of Paramount Studios not knowing what to do with its A-list contract star George Raft, especially after the Hays Production code begins. Is he a gangster? A comedian? A lover? A musical star? A generic matinee idol? The answer is ALL of the above and NONE of the above. The real stars of STOLEN HARMONY are not Raft or Ben Bernie. It is an amazing Art Deco travel bus. That bus makes the movie worth watching while the director tries to figure out what the movie wants to be. STOLEN HARMONY is not a particularly good movie...It might just be plain bad. But it has an interesting cast that does its best with weak and occasionally unpredictable material. Look for James Cagney's brother William as one of the mobsters. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review Read all reviews
