Ben Bernie brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Bernie worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "American Pop" (1981), "Love and Hisses" (1937) and "Stardust Memories" (1980). He also contributed to "Stolen Harmony" (1935), "The Executioner's Song" (1982-83) and "Wake Up and Live" (1937) starring Walter Winchell. Bernie was also credited in "To Be or Not to Be" (1983) starring Mel Brooks, "Evening at Pops (06/20/87)" (PBS, 1986-87) and "Cocoon: the Return" with Don Ameche (1988). He also was recognized in "The Telephone" with Whoopi Goldberg (1988) and "Crimes and Misdemeanors" (1989) starring Woody Allen. Bernie's music was most recently used in "The Counselor" (2013) with Michael Fassbender. Bernie passed away in October 1943 at the age of 52.
