Audience Member reminded me (plotwise at least) of the superior bette davis vehicle 'dark victory" Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member One of Haywards best. If you love a good tear jerker, this one is for you. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member In an eerie foreshadowing of her own fate Susan Hayward plays a wealthy socialite with a fatal brain tumor in this reworking of Dark Victory. The original is far superior but this has a lush production and some breath taking scenery as well as Susie's customary strong performance to recommend it.
