When the opening action sequence ends, you expect the film to back up or at least circle around eventually and tell us who these people are, and it never does. Go to Full Review

It's a scrappy, unpretentious movie, with nicely calibrated pacing, but there's no logic, little motivation and above all, no personalities. Go to Full Review

It may be time for everyone to agree that if you've seen one trapped-in-space-with-an-alien-presence movie, you've seen them all. Go to Full Review

[Blu-ray Review] "Stranded" is far from the worst of its kind, but this is still pretty uninspired moviemaking with nothing original or different to separate it from the pack. Go to Full Review

If you're looking for a low budget, greatest hits collection of some of the best science fiction of all time then I'm sure you'll love Stranded. That is if the filmmakers could even do blatant mimicry correctly. Go to Full Review

Katrina N @RT28017791 Jun 17, 2026 Once you realise it’s a bad bad movie, which is around 4 minutes in, you can relax and enjoy the cheesiness. It’s a competition over which element of this movie is the worst. The acting, the plot, the script, the special effects. I’m barracking for the sporey alien. See more Dan D @Goku4032 Jan 29, 2025 Yeesh, what are bad movie. Visual effects are terrible. Cliched plot of alien organism invading an outpost. Research scientists who don't follow protocols. Rapid gestation of an alien life form and then terrorizes the outpost. A rehash of bad B-movie tropes... See more Georgan G @RT98616417 May 10, 2024 An average sci fi space plot with ok acting, but bad lighting. I was interested enough but the lack of lighting put me off. See more Klayton A @RT17418995 Mar 4, 2023 I truly did enjoy the movie. It was kinda on the weird side but it was a weird that I enjoyed. See more Nov 3, 2020 How did this streaming pile of garbage ever get made? The dvd menu was the most exciting and coherent part of the entire movie. See more Apr 21, 2019 Even someone with a high school education would do. They lost me at "anti gravity override activated". WTF? Ok, let's say this is sci fi so we are going to accept that antigravity is actually a "thing". Why exactly do they need it on the moon? I mean, it makes sense for chitty chitty bang bang, but... If you are going to make a science fiction movie, at least pay a tiny bit of attention to the science part, otherwise why bother? See more Read all reviews
