Sugar Town knows its characters. It inhabits two overlapping worlds in Los Angeles: the world of people who were famous once, and those who will never be famous but dream of nothing else. Go to Full Review

The filmmakers had their finger on the pulse of their characters, it's only too bad they couldn't have made the unwieldy narrative tighter. Go to Full Review

12/14/2010 This film is so much fun! Although the situations may be exaggerated (or are they?), I appreciate the musicians' and actors' willingness to take part in a film that is non-specifically poking fun at them -- playfully & respectfully. The acting is terrible (and I wonder if this is somewhat intentional), which makes it all the more enjoyable. If the performances were spot-on, I truly think the film would fall flat. Beverly D'Angelo's and Michael Des Barres' characters are my favorites. See more 10/21/2010 Loved it! John Taylor, Rosanna Arquette, Michael Des Barres as OLD run of the mill rockstar that won't let go. Could have left out the weird part of the chick giving birth in the "wild" that was a bit over the top for me See more 12/08/2008 The filmmakers had their finger on the pulse of their characters, it's only too bad they couldn't have made the unwieldy narrative tighter. I watched it because of John Taylor but the storyline was brilliant. The casting was perfect! See more 09/15/2007 Not nessessarily the best movie but John Taylor of Duran Duran is in it!!!
