Adrian G This is such an underrated movie and one of the best performances for Devon. This movie is a gem and I highly suggest to check it out! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review jonathan l Buena película corta interpretación en guion le falto de desenvolverse la historia, pero sountrack está de pelos los efectos bien pero se quedó corta la historia se llega entender que sigue tus sueños lucha para llegar esa meta Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An hour and a half of predictable and rather dull sequences. The protagonist is weak and barely deserves a happy ending, but everything is taken for granted. I can only save Chuy and the best friend Blake, comedians in a see of easy foreseeable events. Recommended to a palpitant teenaged audience. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member the best movie i have ever seen in my life Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member The dialog in this movie is quite bad from time to time, but if you are able to get used to it the movie does tend to entertain occasionally as well. It is not the greatest, but I don't think it deserves the 0% on Rotten Tomatoes either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Out of touch and cringe inducing. The worst "party movie" I've ever seen. The plot was non-existent, humor was flat, and it tried so hard to be hip it was painful. The cringe was driven home by antics such as the film's middle-aged producer Andy Boggeri appearing as the host of the wet t-shirt contest. This will be the film all the actors regret for the rest of their lives. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Alan Zilberman Washington Post The best thing about "Sundown" is that it's too dumb to be offensive. Rated: 0.5/4 May 12, 2016 Full Review Nick Schager Film Journal International A ribald south-of-the-border teen fantasy that's drunk on stale clichés. May 11, 2016 Full Review Aaron Peterson The Hollywood Outsider [Sundown] is a playful film with a strong cast and a bombastic soundtrack. It might not be the best Spring Break comedy ever, but this is a party you don't want to miss. Rated: 6.5/10 Oct 25, 2018 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion More likely to make you want to avoid Puerto Vallarta than to visit there. Better yet, just avoid 'Sundown.' Rated: D- May 18, 2016 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat Sundown is effective as the story of a kid who is too easily influenced by his friend and who makes a very stupid mistake in pursuit of a girl. It is not effective when it turns violent or starts including an abundance of homophobic and transphobic humor. Rated: 2/4 May 13, 2016 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Lebrija wants to make a heartfelt statement on love and passion, but he's picked the wrong subgenre to express his sincerity, leaving "Sundown" uneven and eventually out of gas.
