Super great kinda drama-thriller-horror. There no real part where it lags too much, most the actors are great and it gets real crazy, and bloody in the end.

The accuracy of how this movie captures teenage boys being boys is astounding. The aimless wandering, pointless conversations, and ability to be absolutely disgusting.. all spot on. The moral of this story is kids shouldn't have direct access to weapons. Teenagers still qualify is kids. You could replace the sword in the movie with a gun and everything would still make sense. Lock them up parents. Avoid the super dark times.

Allison and the mom stand out in this film, but the lead boys are just mopey teens dealing with guilt. Then the story takes a left turn in the third act. One reviewer compared this to Donnie Darko. I wished this movie had that kind of ingenuity, but it doesn't.

How can you expect to maintain your innocence in a world where darkness is around us! As three friends end up committing a horrible act, they struggle to cover it up with paranoia and guilt growing inside, threatening to swallow them whole. A compelling drama that manages to leave you with a sick feeling in your stomach as these kids become killers!
