Ex-maid of honor Eloise - having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text - decides to hold her head high and attend her oldest friend's wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the random table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets. This was a great movie. Some of the plot could have been strengthened with the side characters but overall the actors did a great job at adding life to the script. I enjoyed watching it and would recommend it if you are in the mood for a cute movie with a good amount of drama. Love it!

I don’t always disagree with the crowd on RT - but when I do I remember why I feel different in this world. And that is probably why I like the movie too - it is ultimately about being different, being true to yourself, and breaking away from where society wants to push you. We watched this on a whim - Saw Anna Kendrick goes to a wedding and thought this could be fun. And it was! No, it is not a serious movie but it is laugh out loud hilarious! We haven’t laughed so hard since Hot Tub Time Machine. Maybe that’s because Craig Robinson is also in this - but it’s not just him. The whole cast is a riot with Lisa Kudrow and Stephen Merchant (the tall dorky guy) is a bonafide genius at comedy. And the old lady steal’s the show. This movie will be a cult film if it isn’t already for anyone honest enough to know they could be seated at Table 19 (if they ever wanted to go to a wedding).

A promising cast but a truly awful movie. Not a single laugh from start to finish! Even Stephen Merchant couldn’t get close to saving this turkey. Truly dreadful.
