Ex-maid of honor Eloise - having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text - decides to hold her head high and attend her oldest friend's wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the random table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets. I loved, loved, loved this movie. I'd never heard of it & was very pleasantly surprised. Not too sweet, not too salty. And, best of all, I wasn't able figure out where the movie was headed next. Great, understated film with plenty of quick, witty nuances. I'm starting to realize that Anna Kendrick never makes a bad movie. Shocked that it's 10 years old & only now enjoying it!

Hawn/Russell kid look lot like Kurt. Everyone at loser table at wedding have sad story. Every said story have happy ending at end of movie. If like Hallmark channel, will probably like this, too.

I really liked this movie. I wasn’t expecting much but I enjoyed the characters and genuinely cared about them. Was it the best movie I’ve ever seen? Absolutely not but was it an entertaining way to spend an hour and 20 minutes? Definitely. June Squib is brilliant!

I genuinely do not understand the negative reviews I see. This is a heartfelt and emotional movie with a lot of deep messages about life. Are there flaws? Yes. Some plot points don't make sense to me and at times I was cringing through. But overall this is a pretty good movie that made me laugh out loud several times and feel all warm and cozy inside.
