Audience Member I love this movie - watched it as a kid and I will on some rare occassions pop it back in if I am feeling nastaglic and I am glad I do everytime! Its a pure joy, sotuational comedic relief but has a lot of heart. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Some of the acting felt a bit forced, and that was painful to watch Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The first half of Tank is mostly just ridiculous dialogue, random plot events, and surprisingly brutal scenes about a hooker. Just when you give up on the movie being any fun at all, the second half begins: an all-out, carefree, explosive shoot-em-up comedy that is just so lovable and great. It's not exactly PG by today's standards, but kids could see it and enjoy it for the tank action. C. Thomas Howell is actually pretty good in his role, and James Garner is enjoyable as well. It's more than a little crazy, but it puts its ludicrous premise to good use and I don't see why anyone would have any big problems with it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst movies ever made Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I rented this for the first time yesterday. Wanted to watch a family movie with my children. The trailer seemed to be show some cool shots of the tank and that was what attracted my son. After watching it I am a bit disapointed in the content and suggestive material in this movie. It is rated PG but I think that is incorrect. Good: Sherman Jumbo Tank footage - mostly near the middle to end of the movie. Escape from degenerative back country bot laws - justice served Father son bonding moments Interesting fed/local gov conflict setup Standing up for the weak - we are all called to protect the disenfranchised Military family dynamics ... could be somewhat real Bad: Taking the Lords name in vein more than once Cursing **it, **ck, etc... Many sexual adult situations and innuendos Multiple derogatory situations not necessary for the family mind Actress attire not appropriate (Jenilee Harrison acting as hooker showing a little too much for a PG) ...this was an 80's movie and it really makes sense as to why so many of this era have slid into moral decay..may God help us repent! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review william s Garner really has to carry the water for this generic melodrama but I'll be damned if I wasn't rooting for him all the way.
