A hardworking and bright high-school senior, Leigh Ann (Katie Holmes) has her impending status as valedictorian jeopardized when her bitter history teacher, Mrs. Tingle (Helen Mirren), gives her a poor grade on a project. This antagonistic relationship quickly escalates until circumstances lead Leigh Ann and her friends Luke (Barry Watson) and Jo Lynn (Marisa Coughlan) to hold Tingle hostage in her home. As the conflict continues, it looks as if not everyone will make it out alive.

A light recommend. The film is nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be; it's just safe because films were defanged in the wake of Columbine. Helen Mirren and Marisa Coughlan are the MVPs

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Tingle is a decent romp through 90's nostalgia. True to the tune of Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, the plot's straight forward about a random scenario you and your friends spitball that actually spirals out of control. Fun, but at times very thin in plot and character development. All of the characters are paper thin but if you're feeling nostalgic then tune in.

Synopsis
