Intentionally uncomfortable thanks to the inclusion of all manner of bodily fluids, with its effectiveness only impacting those who are particularly squeamish. Go to Full Review

Corentin C 1d Actually an interesting movie. Anyone telling you it was boring has just probably been spoonfed one too many (terrible) The Conjuring or Anabelle movie. If you actually like a good horror experience, and not just a teen-scare rollercoaster of jumpscares and tacky demons or ghosts, give that movie a chance. See more Shane J @ShanebanG 5d I’m 30 min in this movie while death scrolling on my phone! Lame ass movie had 100 on my Roku recommendations 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 See more Courtney K @c0urtn3y Dec 14 eh... i really like the overall concept, but it was a really slow start & i just had troubles giving it my full attention span after. which, maybe i missed it because i wasn't really watching it & it seemed to be more of a visual film overall, but why was no one like "maybe you should go see a doctor"? See more Lee T. @TheGreatKingOfHorror Dec 7 This movie was absolute the worst . There’s zero explanation for what triggers anything, and the plot falls apart fast. By the time the main character is literally decomposing, the film still finds a way to shove in a scene that feels more like the director’s basement-level fantasy than actual storytelling. See more Anthony F Aug 6 No amount of metaphorical s**t could justify how much of a waste of time this movie is. It easily ranks in my top 3 worst films of all time. “No but you don’t understand, it’s an author movie” Girl, let me guess, you eat pencils ? This film is bad in every possible way. • The framing? Horrendous. Every shot looks like someone accidentally zoomed in while sneezing. • The transitions? Straight out of a 7th-grade PowerPoint project. • The lighting? Let’s make a body horror movie but shoot it in total darkness — brilliant! Who needs to see when we can just guess what’s happening? And don’t even get me started on the characters: • The protagonist is literally decomposing but never thinks of going to a hospital. • Every male character exists solely to awkwardly and creepily initiate sex — even as she’s clearly rotting. • “Oh, she’s got worms under her skin? Cool, let’s still sleep with her. HIV? Never heard of it, bro!” Oh, and speaking of sex: This felt like watching the worst erotic film ever made, with useless and uncomfortable sex scenes every five minutes, for no reason other than shock value. The director clearly just wanted to show disturbing things for the sake of being disturbing, with zero artistic payoff. Even if there’s a metaphor, it’s buried under bad lighting, bad writing, and bad everything. After watching this film, I genuinely feel like I lost two hours of my life… To what’s essentially the worst erotic non-horror body horror movie ever made. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. (But if tou still dare, condolences.) See more Mike K May 26 As a psychologist, I appreciate the artistic attempt of this movie to physically and visually represent the declining mental health, self-esteem, and depression as it may feel like to someone who is suffering. Mental health issues are not always visible to others and are often not recognized or are misunderstood by others only making the individual feel worse. See more Read all reviews
