Courtney K @c0urtn3y 5d eh... i really like the overall concept, but it was a really slow start & i just had troubles giving it my full attention span after. which, maybe i missed it because i wasn't really watching it & it seemed to be more of a visual film overall, but why was no one like "maybe you should go see a doctor"? See more Lee T. @TheGreatKingOfHorror Dec 7 This movie was absolute the worst . There’s zero explanation for what triggers anything, and the plot falls apart fast. By the time the main character is literally decomposing, the film still finds a way to shove in a scene that feels more like the director’s basement-level fantasy than actual storytelling. See more Anthony F Aug 6 No amount of metaphorical s**t could justify how much of a waste of time this movie is. It easily ranks in my top 3 worst films of all time. “No but you don’t understand, it’s an author movie” Girl, let me guess, you eat pencils ? This film is bad in every possible way. • The framing? Horrendous. Every shot looks like someone accidentally zoomed in while sneezing. • The transitions? Straight out of a 7th-grade PowerPoint project. • The lighting? Let’s make a body horror movie but shoot it in total darkness — brilliant! Who needs to see when we can just guess what’s happening? And don’t even get me started on the characters: • The protagonist is literally decomposing but never thinks of going to a hospital. • Every male character exists solely to awkwardly and creepily initiate sex — even as she’s clearly rotting. • “Oh, she’s got worms under her skin? Cool, let’s still sleep with her. HIV? Never heard of it, bro!” Oh, and speaking of sex: This felt like watching the worst erotic film ever made, with useless and uncomfortable sex scenes every five minutes, for no reason other than shock value. The director clearly just wanted to show disturbing things for the sake of being disturbing, with zero artistic payoff. Even if there’s a metaphor, it’s buried under bad lighting, bad writing, and bad everything. After watching this film, I genuinely feel like I lost two hours of my life… To what’s essentially the worst erotic non-horror body horror movie ever made. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. (But if tou still dare, condolences.) See more Mike K May 26 As a psychologist, I appreciate the artistic attempt of this movie to physically and visually represent the declining mental health, self-esteem, and depression as it may feel like to someone who is suffering. Mental health issues are not always visible to others and are often not recognized or are misunderstood by others only making the individual feel worse. See more @TheCluedo Apr 20 To rate this movie, I have to look at the good and the bad things that were done in this Movie: Lets start with the Good things: - Make up: Whoever made the Makeup for this Movie put all his heart and creativity in. It looked phenomenal and Real and you could see her body getting worse over the days and that was really nessesary for this movie. - idea: Well the script itself wasnt really well written, the Idea of the Movie itself was a big plus for me because of the complex phenomenon happening here and it was also very unique. Bad things: Script: Well the script as mentioned before lacks a lot of information and gives some confusing moments to the watcher, maybe there was deeper meaning I didnt get but could have been improved. And way to many unnessasary Sex-scenes Camera work: While some shots were good some were just as bad so neutral for me here but more in the bad end Acting: The side actors played their roles like I watched the Room, The main actress herself is the best of all but still has some improvement. Music and Sound: Oh boy here we go: This gets 0/5 Stars for me. The Music was way to loud and the Talking way to silent so most of the time I couldnt even understand what was said. In those creepy colored sequences the music also was waay to loud. Overall: More Bad then good but the whole team was able to express their creative talent and probably had a lot of fun. Worth a watch for body horror fans. Not worth a watch for people that vomit easily or cant see gross stuff but thats obvious. See more Jonard B Apr 3 This movie is for people who value shock value over story essence. I’d very much applaud to it if this was produced by college students due to satisfying graphical awesomeness and indie-like appeal, but essentially, this movie lacks storyline, any attempt to improve or get well. It’s just continuous sex and disfigurement in a nutshell, nothing more. See more Read all reviews
