Imari S Oh. wow. That One Amazing Movie....what can I say about it? If you're a fan of virtual reality, Japanimation and innovation in general then That One Amazing Movie is a film worth watching at least once and then twice because of it's hidden cryptic messages that are found within it. As hard to believe but That One Amazing Movie is a highly spiritual film which is not to confused with "religious" this is the type of film which harks back to the early days of films where story, character development---trust me there's a lot of characters--and innovation and creativity is the main star and casts takes a backseat. For a first time independent film, That One Amazing Movie is very advance and unique for what it is, it isn't without it's technical flaws however, the sound mixing is off at times as the music is overpowering at some times and its hard to hear what the characters are saying and some background noises overpowers the sound. Some actors--especially in the live-action section---could use a little bit more work and their acting is a hit or miss and the camerawork could use more work--considering this film is shot on a Sony prosumer 4K camera. With that said however, for a first time film especially being a hybrid film which combines live-action and anime-style CGI, That One Amazing is a visual feast for the eyes. As a extra fun bonus, there's a VR version on Youtube which is the entire film that can be seen in VR headset like Oculus and phone-based VR headsets. I strongly recommend watching That One Amazing Movie, it's a damn fun movie and far better than what Hollywood is putting out lately and far more innovative and creative!!
