Audience Member fine acting Gielgud was so mean! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member OK remake but I still say skip this and see the 1934 version it's superior Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member If you want to see one of the most potent portrayals of all-too-human evil, this is the movie for you. Sir John Gielgud almost nullifies the main story of the love between Robert and Elizabeth Browning, which, nevertheless, makes the story bright, cheerful and doggedly optimistic. A great watch.
