Adam H I haven't watched the Dukes of Hazzard in years, but after I saw a General Lee replica at a stoplight here in Las Vegas, I decided to go down a rabbit hole. My last 2 movies were the DOH Reunion and the DOH Hazzard in Hollywood. The premise of the movie was light to begin with (building a hospital using proceeds from tapes of famous artists that had been speed-trapped into playing the Boar's nest). Then it got downright cartoony. Russian hit men and villains trying to steal the tapes while the Dukes make camp at Griffith Park in Hollywood. Nice to see Enos portrayed as something more than a sop, but the whole movie was like a caricature of the series. When it finished, I had a new appreciation for the 2005 remake with Jessica Simpson, Stiffler, and Johnny Knoxville. It didn't seem near as ridiculous after watching this. I always thought DOH 2005 was a spook of the tv series. After watching this rendition of the Dukes, Johnny, Stiffler, and Jessica matched up mighty fine with the legacy of this movie.
