Audience Member The thing with this movie is that you have to have an understanding of who the serial killer Albert Fish actually was to enjoy it. Since I have this background, the movie was very enjoyable and did a great job portraying the murderer. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Very low budget. No good acting except for the main actor. It seemed more of a bad PBS series instead of a Movie. You can find more about this case from a 5 min Google read. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Although Patrick Bauchau does a good job being chilling and mysterious. But that's all there is to look forward to this film. Jack Conley is boring with his really wooden act showing no emotion except for being dead serious. The script was well put together, voice overs are a little lazy. The cast is alright, the background cast, can't act. Subplot with Jack Conley slowed the movie down a lot. It's weaknesses mostly come from narrations, subplots, and background characters, such as the coroner checking out the body. It's strength really came from Patrick Bauchau who can really sell his lines. As for the disturbing moments, leave it to the lead to send any chills down your back, even his voice overs seem eerie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Felt very low budget and didn't engage me so much. I don't think the performances were up to scratch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A consistent and believable dramatization of Albert Fish, the events surrounding the disappearance of Grace Budd and his eventual capture. One of the better serial killer depictions. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Unlike the trend of real serial killer movies (ie BTK, Ed Gein, Gacy, et al) this one is not only a mature, serious work it is also surprisingly (and thankfully) restrained in its approach to the material since Albert Fish was a child molester/cannibal. But understand this is not a horror movie or a thriller; it's more of a psychological drama about the last few years of this sick individual and the cop who is determined to arrest him.
