Audience Member When Johnny Weissmuller was too old to continue playing Tarzan, he switched to Jungle Jim. The stories were essentially the same as the Tarzan pictures except that Weissmuller was no longer a man of the jungle but now was a safari-suited adventurer. This one is about Jim helping project a lost city from no-good plunderers. It's all pretty inane, but if you're in the right mood it's passable enough. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member 39/100. The extremely low budget Jungle Jim series was a poor excuse to continue Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan legend. The acting is sub par by everyone, and he seems to wrestle with a rubber crocodile in every entry.Thank goodness they are short, most just over an hour. In this one, Jungle Jim is doing his best to prevent some bad guys from stealing a hidden treasure , along the way encountering beasts ranging from sharks and giraffes to lions. A lot of stock footage is used. Notable for future television actress, Elena Verdugo. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
