Audience Member slow, graceful, and beautiful. martin's camera lingers on gabor szilasi's photographs of 1970's rural quebec, then shows what remains. an old man who makes chairs and toy guns in a garage workshop behind a large cross right on the highway sits on his back porch and watches the tractors snail across the horizon. "what could be better?" he asks, full-well knowing he's part of a disappearing world. beautiful, heartreaking, and more than enough to send everyone scurrying towards a deeper exploration of their own family tree.
