Following his daughter's death, Frank Osorio (Federico Luppi), an Argentinian sheep farmer, takes his first trip to Buenos Aires to seek out his granddaughter, Alina (Antonella Costa), and inform her of her mother's passing. Frank also plans to reveal two secrets: one concerning the identity of Alina's father, the other regarding a crime in his past. His visit upends Alina's life, which is already chaotic due to two romantic relationships and an unplanned pregnancy.
