Steve L Bad acting. Sounded like a commercial for the evangelical movement, i.e angels are real. Don't waste your time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Guiselle C Very bad acting, especially in the scene where she is tied up in the chair. Way too much religion for me too, Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/04/24 Full Review Barbara A Really silly premis and confusing “clues”. So Abigail bought the “estate” next to the sweet little old lady who ends up dead. But wait! The pathetic little dump of a house is an estate? And the sweet little old lady is a millionaire but lives in the dilapitated house next door? The people who made this flick should watch more English cozies to get things right. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/05/24 Full Review Ms C More mystery less theology. Not a bad story. But this would have been a tv show episode not a movie if you cut out all the god stuff. I think having wholesome options the whole family can enjoy is great. But I also think you could have gotten the religious message through with much less of it. This is supposed to be a mystery. If this series is continued, I hope they take that into consideration. Jessica Fletcher solved mysteries in a wholesome show for 12 years. God was not shoved at you every 2 minutes for her to do it. Also pay attention to props you use. Abby buys a "cookie" from her sister at a bake sale. She is handed an obviously empty bag. Also how is it at the same bake sale the sister says "EW!" at the suggestion of getting together with her fellow teacher Zeke; and later is all aflutter about getting together with him?? Has potential but needs work. If you're looking for bible lessons that throw in a mystery on the side, then this is for you. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review Lori P Good storyline, very faith-based (which we liked). Acting needs work. Would watch more! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/25/24 Full Review Mr P Not so much made for TV but made solely for American TV. Really schmaltzy, with a lot of God bothering slipped in. Pretty poor acting and implausible storyline. For European audiences this will feel more like a cultural advert for middle America than a real movie. It's a sermon not a film.
