Jacob Oller AV Club The plot is a mess, the mystery is mud, and every moment where it’s not just Brax and Christian busting balls is excruciatingly confused. Rated: D Mar 12, 2025 Full Review Alison Willmore New York Magazine/Vulture The new movie leans into comedy in ways that veer toward the cutesy, but the scenes of the brothers together are great, providing glimpses of the co-dependent boys they were before they grew into trauma-stunted men who regularly commit acts of bloodshed. Mar 10, 2025 Full Review Matt Donato TheWrap The Accountant 2 surpasses its original by keying into a lenient and dangerously playful tone. Rated: 3/5 Mar 10, 2025 Full Review Ernesto Valenzuela Discussing Film The Accountant 2 features Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal at the top of their game, delivering an explosive and surprisingly hilarious sequel that puts their brotherly bond front and center. Rated: 4/5 Mar 27, 2025 Full Review Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) The Accountant 2 ramps up the buddy action comedy dynamic between Affleck and Bernthal to great results! I wish there was a bit more action and the twisty plot doesn't fully come together but the laughs and thrills more than carry the weight. Rated: 4.25/5 Mar 18, 2025 Full Review Preston Barta Denton Record-Chronicle 'The Accountant 2' blends dark humor and heartfelt sibling dynamics in a messy yet entertaining pursuit of justice, proving that even a calculated misfire can deliver charm and thrills.
