kevin c A man and his son on their way to their new home with his new wife and her teenage daughter, soon after they arrive a group of hitmen with bad intentions come knocking at the door. This plays out like a murderous home alone, where the kids need to step up to try and thwart the attackers. Pretty well made movie. Sure the plot itself is pretty thin, but it keeps you engaged nonetheless. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Could not watch this movie without a lot of fast forwarding. A mute, psychopathic teenager turns MacGyver to kill bad guys. The "family dynamic" portion of the movie is horrific in acting and dialog, and only makes the audience care nothing about any of the characters and whether they live or die. The "death" scenes are banal and amateurish, and certainly not worth sitting through the rest of the drivel that is this movie. A waste. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Your updated, blood and guts, Home Alone Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I can see why people may not like this film but actually it's pretty brutal, bleak and nihilistic. I enjoyed every moment. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Worthy low budget actioner 7/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member The characters have the virtue of not acting predictably, but this is outweighed by the lack of an emotional arc and somewhat shoddy stylization. Ed Travis Hollywood Jesus You kind of have to buy in to what The Aggression Scale is selling in order to enjoy this film. And I did, so I did. Mar 31, 2020 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Pits "Straw Dogs" against "Home Alone," if Kevin were a potential serial killer, and the thieves murderers. Rated: 7.5/10 Aug 22, 2012 Full Review Heather Wixson Dread Central The Aggression Scale feels like a cult classic in the making and pretty much has "midnight movie" written all over it.
