Mark T This film opened the door to documentaries being used as a data delivery system at high-level UN climate meetings, known as the COP conferences. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This documentary deals with global warming and gives an emphasis on the timeline of when this will start to affect the world's living things. It makes the statement that it is no longer a question of if global warming is happening, it's a question of how fast it will occur. It goes to the seemingly extreme on how humanity is going to need to build massive levies to hold back rising ocean waters from out costal cities by the year 2100. And goes even further to show New York half submerged in ocean water in by 2400. This documentary does a great job explaining the science behind the actual warming of the planet, and that humans are the reason for the accelerated and unnatural warming. Interestingly they show how they add up the frozen water that could all melt and measure how it will flood our world. With great editing this film is easy to watch and very informative. The message here is that there really is a crisis happening and it will affect the future of humanity. And although the process has already begun we need to take measures now to stop the continued warming. It explains that if we don't stop it now we will be scrambling to survive as a species in the future. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
