The first half is near perfect horror while the second half slips into generic forgetfulness. The tone is so well crafted with little details, locations, & timeframes that make everything feel very creepy. An engrossing mystery that really envelopes me but as the exposition unfolds, it loses its grip on me. The small cast feels amateur & overacted. Yet the concept is original with tons of potential, gruesome imagery, & a few really great moments but it can’t stick the landing.
