santana g paul's face absolutely lighting up when he sees the police on the roof is utter gold. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review jrzy78 Oh, what a loss to the world when John Lennon was murdered and cruel cancer took George Harrison. This was a deep dive into the love, collaboration, and amazing creativity of that iconic, never-to-be-matched band. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Jeanne G I have been a lifelong Beatles fan. I love every album they have released and I truly believe each member is a genius. With that said, this series is too long. The ridiculous amount of them messing around and not actually working is tedious and boring. We get it; they didn't want to be a band any longer. About two hours could have been cut, in my opinion, of John and Paul trying to one-up each other. Overall, it's a great piece of history but yeah, too long. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/29/23 Full Review Xavier R This was an excellent documentary to watch about some more famous bands. But I would like to say it can get tedious and is sometimes very scattered. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Audience Member After seeing this I wonder how they got anything done ! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/22 Full Review Audience Member Well worth the time to watch. Incredible footage from the Fab4. Peter Jackson did an amazing job piecing it all together! Donald Clarke Irish Times All of this is worth preserving, but the repetitions do ask the viewer to approach the film as historical document rather than as a traditional concert film. Rated: 3/5 Feb 20, 2022 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian Who were the Beatles performing to, and for? It’s a good question, and this film is unmissable despite, or because of the fact, there is no answer. Rated: 5/5 Feb 18, 2022 Full Review Shawn Edwards Fox 4 Kansas City Surprisingly Jackson adds so much freshness it almost feels like this band hasn't been covered or talked about to death. Rated: 4/5 Oct 28, 2023 Full Review Paul Whitington Irish Independent During songs like Get Back and I’ve Got A Feeling, Lennon and McCartney send a chill down the collective spine as they start harmonising perfectly, staring at each other with affection as they rekindle the magic sound that conquered the known world. Rated: 4/5 Feb 18, 2022 Full Review John Byrne RTÉ (Ireland) This is an essential cinema experience -- especially if you're a Beatle fan. Rated: 4/5 Feb 11, 2022 Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com The performance itself is what it is, but the real delight is hearing the reactions of those in the street with the real heroes being the two police officers. Responding to noise complaints, they unwittingly step in from the street and into history. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 10, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
